Maxx Crosby Sidelined On Wednesday

Despite battling a knee injury. Las Vegas Raiders star edge rusher Maxx Crosby once again proved why he’s considered one of the toughest players in the NFL. Crosby played 100 percent of defensive snaps during the Raiders’ Week 14 loss to the Denver Broncos, finishing with four tackles (two solo) and 1.0 sack while visibly gutting through discomfort. The All-Pro pass rusher has appeared on the injury report with a knee issue, but his performance Sunday showed little sign of limitation.

Heading into this week’s matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, Crosby’s availability remains a key storyline. But early indications suggest that the Raiders’ defensive centerpiece will attempt to suit up, even if he’s unable to practice.
