While many of the headlines surrounding the 2025 NFL Draft are concerned about the fall of quarterback Shedeur Sanders, the Atlanta Falcons have been another prominent figure.
After years of neglecting their pass rush, the Falcons came out of the first round with Georgia’s Jalon Walker and Tennessee’s James Pearce Jr. to finally solve their problem. However, the trade to get Pearce proved to be costly for Atlanta, as the trade up resulted in them trading their 2026 first-round pick to the Los Angeles Rams. The cost of the trade left analysts baffled, resulting in mixed opinions of their draft as a whole.
