Longtime Raiders exec Al LoCasale dies

Al LoCasale, whose half-century in football included 34 years with the Raiders, has died. He was 82.

The team announced Mr. LoCasale’s death in a statement late Sunday night. No cause of death was given.

“The Raiders are saddened by the passing of longtime executive assistant Al LoCasale, whose relationship with the organization spanned more than three decades,” said Raiders owner Mark Davis in the statement. “He is an integral part of our history and he helped articulate the mystique of the Silver and Black. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
