ALAMEDA — No one knows for sure if the Raiders and the Coliseum have reached the end of the line, which is something players, coach Jon Gruden and the home fans all have in common.
“I try not to speculate on things,” Gruden said Saturday as the Raiders wrapped up preparations to host the Denver Broncos on Christmas Eve. “You can’t control a lot of it. You just have to hope that is not the case and that it works out. If it is the last game, it certainly will be a sad day.”
Since odds are slim owner Mark Davis will state his intentions before kickoff, the Raiders home field for 2019 will likely remain undetermined and a matter of national attention given their presence on Monday Night Football.
