Las Vegas Raiders coach Jon Gruden has drawn the ire of the NFL after another apparent COVID-19 safety precaution violation.
According to Yahoo reporter Charles Robinson, Gruden is set to be fined $150,000 because he's a repeat offender of the league's protocols. The Raiders organization will also be fined $500,000, Robinson adds, and stripped of a 2021 sixth-round draft pick.
This latest punishment is in response to a bizarre saga that began a few weeks ago, when offensive lineman Trent Brown tested positive for COVID-19. He wasn't wearing an NFL-mandated tracer, so the team couldn't properly determine who else was at higher risk of contracting the virus.
