The Las Vegas Raiders had several major issues to begin the year, not the least of which was cornerback Kyu Blu Kelly. After a quiet offseason, he had a meteoric rise in the preseason and ascended to being a full-time starter for the first seven weeks of the 2025 NFL season.
But his results on the field left plenty to be desired. Kelly gave up 25 catches for 399 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Raiders' seven contests before the bye week, and had just one game where he gave up an opposing passer rating of less than 92.
