Jon Gruden’s son makes martial arts debut, puts up a better fight than the Raiders

At least one Gruden is putting up a fight these days.

Jayson Gruden, son of the Raiders’ head coach, recently made his Muay Thai fighting debut, recording a three-round decision over his opponent.

Muay Thai? According to tigermuaythai.com, it’s “the national sport and cultural martial art of Thailand” in which the entire body is utilized as a weapon.

The evlove-mma.com blog refers to it as “the perfect martial art” and “the art of eight limbs (that) utilizes a beautiful symphony of kicks, punches, knees and elbows with fluidity and grace.”

Jayson apparently comes by his physicality naturally.
