Jon Gruden ‘concerned’ about injuries to starting receivers Henry Ruggs, Bryan Edwards

It’s a new week and there are new injury worries for the Raiders, who have been dealing with a rash of injuries since Week 1. The latest big issue at is wide receiver as coach Jon Gruden said Monday he is “concerned” about injuries to rookie starters Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards.

Ruggs, a first-round pick, missed Sunday’s 36-20 loss at New England with a hamstring injury. Edwards suffered an ankle injury in the third quarter. Gruden said he will need to get more information from his medical team before knowing exactly how big of a deal the injuries are.
