Jakobi Meyers hoping for 2024 repeat in contract year

Perennially considered one of the NFL’s most underrated wide receivers, Jakobi Meyers put the league on notice last season with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Meyers enjoyed a career year in 2024, catching 87 passes for 1,027 yards. It was the first time Meyers had ever crossed the 1,000-yard threshold in his career, despite having Gardner Minshew and Aidan O’Connell at quarterback for most of the season. His emergence certainly made the midseason decision to trade Davante Adams to the New York Jets easier to swallow, and the Raiders found a complementary piece on offense for sensational tight end Brock Bowers.
