With new leadership and a new quarterback in Geno Smith coming to town, the Las Vegas Raiders knew upgrading the receiving corps was necessary.
Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers provide a strong foundation, but the lack of depth behind them and third-year receiver Tre Tucker was cause for concern. Fortunately, th Raiders rectified the problem in the 2025 NFL Draft, bringing a total of three receivers into the fold over the three-day event. Jack Bech, Dont’e Thornton Jr., and quarterback-turned-receiver Tommy Mellott are all currently projected to make the 53-man roster this season, all of whom carry different expectations for their rookie seasons.
