Former Hawaii star quarterback and ex-Raider Colt Brennan dies at 37

The college and NFL world is mourning the death of former Hawaii star quarterback and 2007 Heisman Trophy finalist Colt Brennan, who died Monday at age 37.

His father, Terry Brennan, told the Honolulu Star Advertiser that his son was found unconscious at a rehabilitation center over the weekend and he died Monday at a Newport Beach, California, hospital. His family was surrounding Brennan when he died, his father said. Brennan was at the rehab center for the past five months after suffering severe injuries as a passenger in a head-on collision after his football career ended.
