The Oakland Raiders’ game against Kansas City was not pretty. As covered in this week’s film room article, the Raiders’ 20-13 lead at the beginning of the Fourth Quarter quickly switched to a deficit after three highly destructive interceptions. These interceptions handed the Chiefs a quick twenty-one points and ultimately the game – destroying any lingering hopes of the Raiders making the playoffs this season.
Most peculiar about these interceptions is that none of them happened in the exact same way. They didn’t all come as the result of amazing defense or terrible offense. They can’t be written off as the the fault of just one person on the field or on the sidelines.
