ExFL? Connor Cook goes number two overall in skill player XFL draft, three former Raiders go in first round

I know you all have been eagerly anticipating today’s XFL draft. Well, your long wait is over. It’s happening today. So far there’s a strong presence of former Raiders players including the top two picks and three in the first round alone.

The number one overall pick by the DC Defenders in the XFL draft was Rashard Davis who had two stints on the Raiders’ practice squad last season and signed a reserve/future contract in January before being cut in April.

Second overall to the Houston Roughnecks was Connor Cook who was a fourth round pick (100 overall) by the Raiders in the 2016 draft.
