The Oakland Raiders are in the middle of one of their worst season in recent memory, and starting quarterback Derek Carr has been getting hammered by the media. First, Carr was not expected to last the trade deadline, as the thought was he would be traded for picks, and now people feel he will be moved in the offseason.
While that is nice fodder, Carr is not going anywhere, and Jon Gruden and Mark Davis have committed to him being their quarterback for the foreseeable future. He has had a rough season, that is true, but he also gets no protection, and is currently throwing to guys like Seth Roberts, Marcell Ateman, and Brandon LaFell.
