DB Dewey McDonald promoted from practice squad to active roster

The Oakland Raiders had an open roster spot thanks to the suspension of Marcel Reece and so they had to fill it some how. They decided to remedy that by promoting defensive back Dewey McDonald to the active roster.

McDonald was originally an undrafted rookie signing in 2014 by the Indianapolis Colts where he played in 12 games for them and was second on the team in special teams tackles. He was waived after the first game of the season this year by Indy and was later signed by the New England Patriots where he played in one game for them before being cut.
