With the regular season schedule having been out since April, and most of the preseason schedule having been released before that, the only detail that remained was what was to be of the Raiders’ third preseason game against the Packers.
It’s a ‘home’ game, but the discussion was about them taking it to Canada, making for the first of two International games the Raiders will play this year. Soon it was revealed that location would be Winnipeg. The only question that remained was exactly when the game would be played.
That day will be August 22, according to Jeff Hamilton of the Winnipeg Free Press.
