The Las Vegas Raiders reportedly had interest in signing former New York Giants starting quarterback Daniel Jones, but they were not able to reel him in.
According to multiple reports, Jones has signed with the Minnesota Vikings’ practice squad.
The end result is not a surprise. Fox Sports (which broke Jones’ signing with Minnesota) reported Monday evening that Jones had eliminated the Raiders from consideration after he cleared waivers and became a free agent earlier in the day.
NFL Media reported Sunday the Las Vegas Raiders would be among the teams that was expected to pursue Jones.
