A lot of people expected the Chargers’ exit from the playoff to occur in the Wild Card game in Baltimore. The Chargers were able to hold off the Ravens for the right to take another trip out east to face the Patriots in the Divisional round. And that’s where it all came crashing down in a game with a final score that didn’t accurately reflect the drubbing that occurred.
From the opening kickoff the Patriots handled the Chargers. They went on an 83-yard touchdown drive to open things up. The Chargers would respond with a TD drive of their own.
