HENDERSON, Nev. -- Pete Carroll doesn't care what anyone thinks about his lofty goals for the Las Vegas Raiders in Year 1 as head coach.
In 18 seasons in the NFL, Carroll has finished with a losing record just four times. He's had nine seasons with at least 10-plus wins -- tied for 11th-most by a coach in the Super Bowl era. Despite inheriting a team that went 4-13 and hasn't been to the postseason since 2021, Carroll hasn't diminished his expectations.
"We are going to win a bunch of games. I can't even imagine anything else," Carroll said confidently on the first day of training camp last month.
