BREAKING: Chip Kelly out as Raiders offensive coordinator

The union between Chip Kelly and the Las Vegas Raiders is already over.

On Sunday, hours after the Raiders fell to 2-9 in Sunday’s loss to the Cleveland Browns, the team has made the decision to fire their offensive coordinator before the end of his first season.

The decision ends what was ultimately a disastrous tenure for Kelly in Las Vegas, as the Raiders made him the highest-paid coordinator in the NFL at $6 million per season back in February.

Now, just 12 weeks into his first season, the Raiders have already seen enough.

The offense has been one of the most disappointing units in all of football this season.
