While Mark Davis, Marc Badain and company continue their efforts in Las Vegas, despite what seems like an improbable deal at this point, there is some updated news regarding the chances of the Oakland Raiders staying in the city they currently call home.
The company responsible for financing the Ronnie Lott group’s bid to keep the Raiders in Oakland, Fortress Investment Group, has been bought out by Japanese-based SoftBank for $3.3 billion.
With a new company now in possession of the one that was financing the effort to keep the Raiders in Oakland, that begs the question of what will be affected by this, if anything.
