Attorney for former Raider, NFL Hall of Famer, contests civil suit stemming from Super Bowl bash

Former Raider Warren Sapp may be one step closer to closing the book on a Super Bowl weekend that just won’t end.

TMZ reported Tuesday that Sapp’s attorney responded to a $15,000 civil suit filed against the Hall of Fame defensive lineman by telling the judge it was “a sham.”

Which, you’ll recall, always totally worked for Bobby Donnell in “The Practice.”

The plaintiff in Sapp’s case is Paula Trickey, who accused Sapp (playing weight: 303 pounds) of crashing into her in 2015 as he was being evicted from an ESPN Super Bowl Party in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to TMZ.
