Kevin Durant was hoping another superstar would follow his lead by leaving Oakland for the East Coast.
In the wake of all the drama unfolding between the Raiders and Antonio Brown, the former Warriors forward thought the wide receiver might end up getting traded to his favorite NFL team in Washington.
"I thought we was going to get AB these last couple of days," Durant told YouTube user See Hendo during a live stream interview on Friday. "So I was like, 'Man, hey if y'all don't want him, Oakland, come and send him down.'"
The Raiders trading Brown seems like a worst-cast scenario for coach Jon Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock, but after everything that's unfolded this week, nothing should seem unrealistic.
