Very few things were set in stone with the Las Vegas Raiders defense following a mass exodus of talent in free agency in March.
However, what was expected was that third-year cornerback Jakorian Bennett would get one of the starting spots at cornerback. After a rough rookie season, Bennett rebounded to cut down on both completions allowed and passer rating against in his second year. Despite missing the final seven games of the season with a shoulder injury, the 2024 season could only be considered a success for Bennett.
As Bennett is hoping to return to play, however, it appears he has found a new roadblock in his path.
