The 2019 NFL season is entering Week 9, and for the AFC West, there is only one team with a winning record. That team is the Kansas City Chiefs, who like most of the division, lost in Week 8, but they are still sitting at 5-3 on the season.
Being without Patrick Mahomes is going to hurt the Chiefs, who will have to take on the Minnesota Vikings this weekend. While it remains to be seen if Mahomes will actually be back this weekend, I would not count on it, as his knee dislocated less than two weeks ago.
