I started compiling this list in January and after some procrastination in posting it, I’m ready to — and just in time* too.

This is a list of 123 names in the NFL who I viewed not just as cap casualty candidates, but as players who I believed would be released or traded, if not at least have their contracts renegotiated to stay in town. By now, some of these names have already been released, such as Vegas Raiders linebacker Tahir Whitehead, let go on Monday.
