BREAKING: Raiders and Sr. Executive John Herrera part ways

The Oakland Raiders have made yet another big move since the passing of long-time owner Al Davis. Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune reports that the Raiders and Senior Executive John Herrera have parted ways. Herrera was not released under the direction of new General Manager Reggie McKenzie, but that of a “business” side.  Herrera joined the Raiders under his latest title in 1985 and remained in that role until today. He worked in the past as the Raiders Director of Public Relations; he was the first Scout of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, held the Director of Player Personnel role for the BC Lions and the General Manager position for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL....
