Following Friday afternoon bowl practice, Mark Stoops announced the redshirt sophomore wide receiver from Paducah has been suspended from all team activities.
The McCracken County product was arrested at 4:19 a.m. December 2 for “intentionally causing physical injury to his girlfriend,“ who had bruising and fresh scratches. He was charged with fourth-degree assault.
Hughes has plead not guilty. His next court appearance is January 16.
