Not long after senior wide receiver Josh Ali announced he would take advantage of the NCAA’s free year of eligibility for the 2021 season, Johnson took to Twitter to do the same.
“Big Blue Nation, after much thought and consideration with my family and coaches, I’ve decided that my time here at the University of Kentucky isn’t over,” Johnson announced. “I’m coming back to pursue my Master’s degree and represent this great university on the field.
“I’m blessed to have this opportunity and look forward to bettering myself and going to war with my team for another year.
