Kentucky’s new football coach knows how to score some points.
During the first round of the College Football Playoffs on Saturday night in Eugene, the (5) Oregon Ducks put on an offensive clinic in a 51-34 rout of (12) James Madison. Oregon’s offense was led by offensive coordinator/future Kentucky coach Will Stein, who schemed the Ducks to 514 yards of total offense (313 passing, 201 rushing). Oregon scored five touchdowns on its first five possessions of the game. None of them took longer than three minutes.
