The eagle has landed. Will Stein arrived in Lexington this afternoon. Approximately 1,500 people watched a hilarious live stream produced by Steven Peake from a snow-covered Blue Grass Airport on Tuesday afternoon. Tonight’s appearance at Rupp Arena was much cozier.
Stein arrived early to the game between the Cats and the Tar Heels. Zack Geoghegan spotted him on the floor nearly two hours before tip-off. They didn’t make the new Kentucky football wait long to get his introduction. During the first TV timeout, Stein was the ceremonial “Y” at midcourt.
