Could Will Levis really come in and take the starting quarterback job this fall?
The feeling among those inside and outside of the Kentucky program is that the Penn State transfer is in prime position to take over the starting job, ultimately earning the spot ahead of fellow Wildcat quarterbacks Joey Gatewood and Beau Allen in the final race. But Levis just got to Kentucky while Gatewood and Allen have been here for a while now. Despite the familiarity of those two with UK, Levis might just be the better overall player.
If you ask the national football columnist over at Rivals, Mike Farrell, he’d tell you that Levis is one of the top 10 quarterbacks across the country who transferred this offseason.
