LEXINGTON — Former Kentucky offensive coordinator Liam Coen was clear about the priority in the Wildcats’ 2022 recruiting class when asked about the wide receivers he had just helped sign in December.
“We need to continue to get faster at the receiver position and overall as an offense to complement the physicality that has already been provided in here,” Coen said.
How well Kentucky addressed that need with the four high school receivers signed in the class will be determined on the field starting this fall, but at least one of the incoming freshmen has more than backed up his reputation before even joining the team.
