LEXINGTON - Welcome to the busiest home weekend on the University of Kentucky’s fall athletics schedule.
And perhaps the most boring.
The Kentucky basketball team opened the festivities with an 82-62 win over Mount Saint Mary’s Friday. The Wildcat football team faces FCS UT-Martin on Saturday. John Calipari’s team then returns to the court against Lamar on Sunday.
The two basketball opponents rank outside the country’s top 150 teams, according to KenPom.
