What you need to know about Kentucky's cheerleading hazing investigation

LEXINGTON – Kentucky’s 24-time national championship cheerleading program has been rocked by scandal this week.

On Monday, head coach Jomo Thompson and his three assistant coaches were all fired after a university investigation into allegations of hazing, partially nude gymnastics stunts and alcohol drinking on university-sponsored trips. The program’s longtime adviser, T. Lynn Williamson, was also implicated but retired shortly after learning of the investigation and being directed to not have any contact with the cheerleading squad.

Here is a closer look at what we know so far about the allegations, the investigation and changes to the program as well as lingering questions.
