West Virginia Forward and Former UK Target Oscar Tshiebwe Enters Transfer Portal

One of the best big men in college basketball is saying sayonara to Morgantown. Could West Virginia’s loss be Kentucky’s gain?

A week after West Virginia announced Oscar Tshiebwe left the Mountaineer program for personal reasons, Jeff Borzello reports the talented power forward has entered his name into the transfer portal. Last season he averaged 11.2 points and 9.3 rebounds as a true freshman, earning second team All-Big 12 honors. He led the Mountaineers in scoring and recorded ten double-doubles. CBS Sports ranked Tshiebwe as the No. 15 player in college basketball ahead of the 2020-21 season.
