Today’s Signing Day Press Conference took an unexpected, emotional turn. When asked what role the late John Schlarman played in recruiting the offensive linemen in Kentucky’s 2021 class, Vince Marrow got choked up, opening up about the loss of his good friend.
“Man, you’re about to make me get emotional ’cause I think about my guy everyday,” Marrow began. “He’s a guy when we start off looking at recruits, he’s a guy — hold on. That caught me off guard, I’m sorry.”
“Coach Schlarman is a guy that knew how to identify linemen,” he continued.
