There were many takeaways from the game, but the two biggest performances came from a pair of freshmen guards.

After inconsistent shooting plagued Kentucky guard Tyler Herro to start the season, the Wildcat freshman put on an absolute shot, finishing with a team-high 24 points on 10-13 shooting.

Kentucky freshman point guard Ashton Hagans finished with a career-high 11 points and proved once again he’s one of the most tenacious defenders in college basketball.
