Another game, another loss.
Despite an excellent comeback effort in the second half, Kentucky fell to Notre Dame 64-63 for their fourth consecutive defeat. A 19-0 first-half run by the Fighting Irish led to a 22-point advantage at the break and the Wildcats just couldn’t climb all the way back from that hole.
After putting up 81 points in the season-opening win over Morehead State, Kentucky has failed to score more than 64 points in a game during the losing streak. There are still plenty of defensive lapses, but the primary issues are clearly on the offensive end.
