John Calipari was at Madison Square Garden on Thursday night to check out a handful of his former players and he received a warm welcome from the Knicks organization.
The head coach of Kentucky Men’s Basketball is in the northeast for this weekend’s Basketball Hall of Fame ceremony. As a pit stop, Calipari and his son Brad went to see the New York “Kentucky” Knicks take on the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden. Calipari was once the college head coach of six different players spread across the two NBA teams with Keldon Johnson playing for the Spurs while NBA All-Star Julius Randle, Nerlens Noel, rookie Immanuel Quickley, Derrick Rose, and Kevin Knox suited up for the Knicks.
