WATCH: Max Duffy Reveals Head Injuries on Australian TV

After an historic season in the Bluegrass, Max Duffy has returned to Australia to take a break from the gridiron. Little did we know how much Kentucky’s punter struggled with health problems late in the year.

“I had a seizure in mid-December,” he told Paddy Sweeny of 9 News Australia. “Then had another concussion in practice in the lead up to the bowl game. Ended up with some vertigo symptoms and some chronic headaches.”

Duffy has found at least a temporary solution to combat the problem. “I get about 20 needles in my head each Thursday and it does the job,” he said.
