Nothing went right for Kentucky on Saturday at L&N Stadium, but the KSR crew had no choice but to helplessly watch it all unfold.
The Wildcats were smacked on Saturday in the Governor’s Cup, losing 41-0 to archrival Louisville in a game that got out of hand by the second quarter. Despite missing a slew of starters due to injury (and even starting a true freshman walk-on at running back), the Cardinals had no problems dismantling a Kentucky team that appeared to give up halfway through the game.
It couldn’t have been a worse outcome for the program, which finished the season 5-7 with losses to Vanderbilt and Louisville by a combined score of 86-17 in the final two games.
