John Calipari stayed busy during a quick trip to Detroit.
Kentucky’s head coach made a mid-week excursion to visit future Wildcat Isaiah Jackson and hang out with his son, Brad. The two Calipari’s capped off the night by checking out a game between Derrick Rose and Brad’s former teammate, De’Aaron Fox.
Before making his way back to Lexington, John Calipari made one more pitstop. During his usual stop for morning coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts, he picked up an extra couple dozen donuts for the Detroit Mercy women’s basketball team. Along with some carbs for the road trip to Wright State and NKU, Coach Cal gave some advice.
