Kellan Grady has reached a new stage in his metamorphosis into Steph Curry.
The Grady-to-Curry transformation process began with Grady’s enrollment at Curry’s alma mater, Davidson, where both Curry and Grady scored over 2,000 points in their college careers as Wildcats. As Grady began to make a name for himself in Curry’s old spot, he credited Curry as the inspiration behind the work. As recent as last week, Grady pointed to Curry as someone he and his father would watch on tape to develop Grady’s shooting stroke.
As the metamorphosis continued, Grady had a very Curry-like performance with seven 3-pointers in one game for Kentucky earlier this season.
