It’s been a busy news day for Kentucky sports, but no news was as uplifting as what came out of Richmond earlier on Tuesday.
Through a social media post, Eastern Kentucky Men’s Basketball head coach A.W. Hamilton announced that he is now cancer-free. Hamilton explains in the video that he was initially diagnosed with Stage 2 Melanoma back in July following his first physical checkup since he was in college back in 2004.
