Kentucky got a huge win over Monmouth, beating them 104-46 as the team shot 17-36 from deep. Lexi Blue specifically shot 6-7 from three-point range — her best outing as a Wildcat thus far.
Following the 58-point victory, she joined Kenny Brooks and Amelia Hassett for the postgame press conference. Blue was asked about how her confidence seemed to be on point against the Hawks, and she gives the credit for that to her teammates.
“Freshman year was freshman year,” Blue said regarding how she’s gotten more comfortable from last year to now.
