We already know Immanuel Quickley grew up watching John Wall, and we already know John Wall’s impact is still growing in the state of Kentucky and with the basketball program. What we didn’t previously know was this pair had the chance for a “quick” chat this weekend while Wall was in town for the Kentucky vs. Florida game. Thanks to the folks with UK Athletics, now we know.
Wall started the conversation with his own impression of Quickley, complimenting his aggression, confidence and “dog mentality” on the basketball court. He’s also been impressed watching UK’s star sophomore develop from “just a shooter” into a legitimate ball handler who can create shots for himself and his teammates, all while being a “lock-down defender.
