Kentucky beat up on North Carolina Central to the tune of a 36-point victory on Tuesday night in Rupp Arena, but you wouldn’t know it from listening to Mark Pope‘s postgame press conference.
Pope was clearly frustrated and angry during his seven-minute sitdown with the media, taking long pauses before answering the first couple of questions that centered around him sending a message to his team. Jaland Lowe and Kam Williams did not see the floor until the second half, while Brandon Garrison was benched midway through the first half and did not return the rest of the way after a poor turnover.
