Max Duffy is one of eight punters nominated for the Ray Guy Award’s “Guy of the Week” honor, given to college football’s top punter of the week. Duffy was used quite often in Columbia, punting nine times for 460 yards, an average of 51.1 yards per kick. Four landed inside the 20-yard line and one punt sailed 62 yards.
Duffy is the only college football punter that averages more than 50 yards per punt. He currently averages 51.2 yards per kick.
In the middle of a three-game skid, there aren’t too many reasons to be excited about Kentucky football.
