Former Kentucky associate head coach Vince Marrow continues to talk about his stunning moving to in-state rival Louisville.
Marrow admits in an interview with CBS Sports that the secret got out sooner than he wanted. In fact, he hadn’t even talked to good friend Mark Stoops about the potential move.
“It violated what I really wanted,” Marrow said. “It was hard because I wanted to do it my way.”
The Big Dog also said he could have left many times in the past but chose to stay in Lexington.
Here’s an excerpt from CBS Sports:
“You have stuff in college football where guys can selfishly recruit, they control certain things, and I was like, being in this position, you don’t have to worry about that,” Marrow said.
